The refurbishment of the Red Bend Catholic College Boys Dormitory included the extension of the existing facility to both the east and westerly directions.
Students and staff occupied half of the building while works were undertaken allowing the college to limit the requirement for additional temporary accommodation and limiting disruption to the school boarder facilities.
The eastern extension saw new facilities in place including bathroom and kitchen amenities, student breakout spaces, services storage areas, staff supervision spaces and staff accommodation. Once the eastern extension was commissioned students decanted from the western accommodation into the eastern side and works were continued to complete the project.
